Eric Weiner answers those questions and more, offering travelers of all moods some interesting new ideas for sunnier destinations and dispositions. Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout
Have you had a favorite teacher? Or one that you felt didn't understand you and didn't care? At times stern, at other times patient, at times perceptive at other times in sad denial, Olive Kitteridge, a retired schoolteacher, deplores the changes in her little town of Crosby, Maine, and in the world at large but she doesn't always recognize the changes in those around her. We will be discussing this book on May 24, 2010 at 6:30. Note the change from our regular last Monday of the month time due to the Memorial Day holiday.
